At times, we all have a negative attitude as a consequence of letting ourselves go through negative thoughts. It is easier to complain than to make an effort to see the positive side of everything.
However, if we were more aware of the effects of negative thinking, both in the moment and in the long run, we would surely choose differently.

Negative thoughts are caused by ingrained patterns related to our own beliefs: about self-esteem, security, money, people, life, and everything else. For instance, you may have thought at some point that life is difficult. Then, whenever you felt that life was being difficult, your thought was reinforced and grew on to being a belief. Besides, an extreme negative emotional state can cause eating disorders: from over eating to a complete lack of appetite and not eating enough (and not caring about it)
3) Closing oneself down to possibilities and the flow of abundance. When we are in a negative state we do not attract those elements that would make our lives advance; rather we attract the circumstances that support us in thinking something is wrong, and we get stuck. Simply put, when we stay thinking negative, we attract negative emotions and events. Thus when one is in a negative state everything seems to go wrong.
4) A negative effect in others.
Have you ever wondered how you may be affecting other people because of the way you feel? Think about when a relative, a friend or someone at work seems to be having a bad day and how you feel when you come in contact with them. You could be making others feel the same way when you are wrapped in your own negative thoughts

2) Smile. It really does help change your mood and relieve stress. it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown.
3) Surround yourself with positive people.When you’re stuck in a negative spiral, talk to people who can put things into perspective and won’t feed your negative thinking.
4) Change the tone of your thoughts from negative to positive.For example, instead of thinking, “We are going to have a hard time adjusting to our living situation,” think, “We will face some challenges in our living situation, but we will come up with solutions that we will both be happy with.”
5) Don’t play the victim.
You create your life—take responsibility.Even if our living situation becomes unbearable, there is always a way out. I will always have the choice to make change happen, if need be
6) Help someone.Take the focus away from you and do something nice for another person.
7) Remember that no one is perfect and let yourself move forward.It’s easy to dwell on your mistakes, learn from your mistakes and move forward.
8) Sing.This might sound silly, but When we sing, we show our feelings and this provides an amazing stress relief.
9) List five things that you are grateful for right now.Being grateful helps appreciate what you already have.
10) Read positive quotes. place Post-It notes with positive quotes on your computer, fridge door, and mirror as reminders to stay positive.
